The Bronx Is Burning (2007)
In the summer of 1977, New York was a city in crisis. Paralyzed by a citywide blackout, political strife, and the Son of Sam killing spree, the Big Apple was burning. Rising out of this troubled urban landscape to bring hope and inspiration came one of baseball's most storied franchises, The New York Yankees.

Billy and George have a meeting to try and smooth things over before the beginning of the 1977 season. Mayor Abraham D. Beame sets up his new Omega task force to try and catch the Son of Sam serial killer. Reggie continues to alienate himself from his teammates.
The clash of egos between Billy Martin, Reggie Jackson and George Steinbrenner begin to take its toll on the Yankee team. George is considering firing Billy (again) and the "Son of Sam" killer continues his rampage.
Billy gives in to George's demands and bats Reggie fourth in the batting order. The New York City Police Department continue their fight to find the "Son of Sam" killer.
The Yankees prepare for the playoffs after winning the American League East. Meanwhile, the New York City Mayoral Race is finally decided.
