Yo Han meets Young Sik to cut him off from Se Ran so he will not help her with her crime. He asks Young Sik for his statement that Kang Se Ran bribed him to lock Da Jung and him in the warehouse. Meanwhile, Se Ran realizes she left her trace at the crime scene, so she goes back to the park.

Se Ran gets reprimanded by Madam Yoon after getting blamed for the warehouse incident. She is stripped of her CEO title and put to work in the kitchen as Da Jung's helper. Meanwhile, Sang Chul finds Duk Soo's phone suspicious and tries to find out what Se Ran was trying to hide.

Da Jung has a hard time accepting Duk Soo's death. As she cleans his room, she finds the memorandum Sang Chul had written and realizes the date he signed it was the day Duk Soo passed away. Infuriated by what she knows, she interrogates Se Ran for more answers.

Da Jung and Sang Chul arrive at the courthouse to finalize their divorce. When Se Ran hears about who got Song Yi's custody, she loses her mind. Meanwhile, Hae Il introduces Ji Hoon to Madam Yoon, and Madam Yoon visits Man Seok at the columbarium.

Je Guk is shocked to find out Yo Han has been visiting W Investments regularly, and he starts to keep an eye on him. Noel remembers Duk Soo calling her with a different name, Hae Il, and wonders who Hae Il is. Meanwhile, Da Jung shows the original photo of Man Seok without the mark on his shoulder to Bo Bae.

Meanwhile, Da Jung searches for clues about her mother and visits a restaurant she vaguely remembers from her childhood memories.

Sang Chul gets fed up with Se Ran for not introducing him to Madam Yoon. He takes the initiative and goes to Bobaejung by himself to meet her. Meanwhile, Da Jung gets lost in thought after finding a stuffed teddy bear with her mom's initials, H.I.

The competition between Da Jung and Se Ran for a new menu begins. However, Se Ran cheats to get reinstated and fire Da Jung. Meanwhile, Since Se Ran is not willing to introduce Sang Chul and Ma Ri to Bo Bae anytime soon, Ma Ri decides to barge into Bobaejung first to meet Bo Bae.

Da Jung wins the competition and becomes the vice CEO of Bobaejung. Now that Se Ran lost to Da Jung, even with all the benefits she had, she feels anxious as she is not the real granddaughter. Therefore, she comes up with a backup plan in case she gets caught.

With Sang Chul and Se Ran's belongings found at the park, Da Jung realizes that Duk Soo's death was not accidental. However, the evidence she has is not enough to reopen the case. Meanwhile, Noel remembers she had a daughter before she lost her memory.

Je Guk continues to believe there is a connection between Yo Han and W Investments and visits W Investments unannounced. Da Jung believes Ae Ja is up to something suspicious and stays up all night, keeping a close watch. Later, Madam Yoon learns about Se Ran and Ae Ja's misdeeds, and she punishes them severely.

Da Jung returns home to find her house ransacked. The only people she can think of responsible are Sang Chul and Se Ran. While picking up Song Yi, Da Jung fools Sang Chul into thinking Madam Yoon is anticipating to see him. Meanwhile, Ji Hoon visits Madam Yoon at Bobaejung and sees Se Ran.

Se Ran tells Madam Yoon that she did not know Baek Sang Chul was married and that he stalked her. Sang Chul decides to pretend to have Da Jung's dad's phone, but Se Ran soon figures out that he has no idea what's on the phone. Da Jung goes to her dad's old factory, but she passes out on the way. Ji Hoon asks Se Ran out after he finds out she is the granddaughter of Bobaejung's owner, and Se Ran takes this chance to get closer to him. Meanwhile, Da Jung visits Duk Soo's old office to look for witnesses at the park, and Noel also visits his office to get information on his whereabouts.

Yo Han comforts Da Jung as they are going through similar pain. Noel hires Sa Ri as her driver as he promises to help her find her daughter. After Bo Bae discovers that Se Ran had an affair with Da Jung's husband, she visits Sang Chul with Da Jung to hear the truth.

Madam Yoon orders Se Ran to pack her bags and leave, but Se Ran tells Madam Yoon about what drove her vindictive mind. Sang Chul gets a wake-up call when he learns Yo Han and Ji Hoon is Mr. Wang's nephew and son. Meanwhile, Yo Han tells Da Jung he's leaving Bobaejung and later drags her to try on a wedding dress that Ji Hoon sees.

After seeing Da Jung in the wedding dress, Ji Hoon falls head over heels for her and asks Yo Han for an introduction. However, Yo Han refuses. Meanwhile, Yo Han takes Hae Il's words as his chance to profess his genuine feelings for Da Jung.

Ji Hoon is glad to see Da Jung again at the hospital while helping Se Ran. Se Ran decides to invite Ji Hoon over for dinner to thank him for saving her life. Meanwhile, Da Jung finds a witness who happened to see Duk Soo at the park with Se Ran and Sang Chul, and Noel visits someone who might know about Go Eun.

Se Ran gets extremely jealous that Ji Hoon is interested in Da Jung, and Da Jung successfully makes a fool out of Se Ran. Da Jung meets Ji Hoon to return the gift, and Yo Han runs into them. Meanwhile, Da Jung finds out Song Yi's actual blood type at the hospital and gets a call from someone who witnessed Duk Soo's accident at the park.

Now that Da Jung finds out the truth about her father's death, Sang Chul begs her for forgiveness. On her way to a police station, she runs into Je Guk, who found her passed out and took her to the hospital. Meanwhile, Se Ran comes up with a plan to stop her from reporting, and Yo Han is worried as he cannot reach her.

After confronting Da Jung about the footage of Shin Duk Soo's death, Se Ran returns home in a state of bewilderment. When Yo Han can't reach Da Jung, he worries about her safety and visits her house. He sees Se Ran and Sang Chul together and suspects they did something to her.

Da Jung is still out of reach, and Yo Han becomes even more worried about her. Sang Chul sneaks into Da Jung's house to retrieve her laptop but urgently has to hide after hearing Yo Han entering her house. Meanwhile, Yo Han learns about Da Jung's whereabouts from his secretary and heads to her last known location.

Even though Se Ran feels anxious about what she has done to Da Jung, she continues with her plan to win over Noel and Ji Hoon. Ji Hoon asks Yo Han about Da Jung, and Yo Han realizes Ji Hoon has feelings for her. Meanwhile, Da Jung stays quiet to get her revenge on Se Ran when she is letting her guard down.

Da Jung can speak well now but still cannot walk on her own. Yo Han finds crucial evidence of Da Jung's accident and reports it to the police. Therefore, Ae Ja gets arrested for kidnapping Da Jung. Meanwhile, Song Yi goes missing in the middle of the night, and Sang Chul and Ma Ri look for her.

Yo Han feels bad that he cannot tell Da Jung about what happened to Song Yi. He confesses his feelings towards her and takes care of her. Meanwhile, Se Ran frames Sang Chul for a crime so that he will get arrested and stay away from her. At the station, Sang Chul runs into the driver who had hit Song Yi.

Upon hearing news about Song Yi, Da Jung crumbles inside and thinks of joining her in the afterlife. However, Yo Han persuades her to change her mind. Meanwhile, Yo Han learns about Ji Hoon's marriage to Se Ran and tries to convince Je Guk to change his mind, but Je Guk tells him otherwise.

After receiving an anonymous parcel containing a voodoo doll, Se Ran asks Yo Han if he has heard anything about Da Jung. Meanwhile, Ji Hoon continues to long for women like Da Jung, and Je Guk returns from an overseas business trip and then makes a shocking announcement at Dream Food's anniversary party.

With Da Jung's comeback after two years, everyone is in shock and pain, especially Yo Han. Yo Han cannot believe what Da Jung has become and tries to stop her, but she is determined to get back at Se Ran on her own.

Yo Han goes on a trip with An Na and stays away from Je Guk and Da Jung. Da Jung feels sorry for Yo Han, but she promises herself she will not get distracted by him. Meanwhile, Sang Chul is released from prison and is about to expose Se Ran.

Yo Han takes him on face-to-face and fights over Da Jung, claiming that Je Guk was the first to step in between his relationship with Da Jung. Meanwhile, Se Ran's plan to get out of jail pushes Chairman Wang into a consequential predicament.

Se Ran has been cleared of charges and returns home from prison, which surprised everyone, especially Da Jung. Da Jung visits the adoption agency and finds out her biological daughter moved back to Korea from the US. Meanwhile, Noel discovers the truth behind Je Guk and Da Jung's marriage.

Meanwhile, Madam Yoon becomes suspicious after seeing what An Na drew.

Hae Il learns about the initials of the painting and information on who bought it at the gallery. After visiting the gallery, Hae Il searches her mind and finally regains her memories of her missing daughter. Meanwhile, Yo Han and Madam Yoon find something suspicious about An Na's drawing and ask her about it.

Noel resents Je Guk for lying about her past, including Duk Soo and her long-lost daughter. Yo Han tells Ji Hoon to turn himself in, but he ignores his warning and returns to his office. Meanwhile, Ae Ja gets caught stealing the photo of Man Seok in Bo Bae's office. Bo Bae finds it strange and gets an expert to investigate the photo.

Ji Hoon decides to turn himself in for the hit-and-run accident as Da Jung advised, but Je Guk is completely against the idea. Se Ran discovers where Sang Chul left Duk Soo's phone to get repaired, so she heads to the repair shop, and Sang Chul goes after her.

After Bo Bae wakes up, they look for crucial evidence of Se Ran's crime in Duk Soo's phone and realize that Duk Soo was Bo Bae's biological son. Meanwhile, Noel finds out her daughter, Go Eun, is alive.

Madam Yoon throws a celebration party for reuniting with her long-lost granddaughter at Bobajung. To take matters further, Madam Yoon tells Chairman Wang to divorce Da Jung with a threat that could demolish his business plans. Meanwhile, Se Ran gets interrogated at the police station, but without hard evidence, she may get released from police custody in 48 hours.

Hae Il learns that it was Ae Ja who sold Go Eun to the diner after overhearing Ae Ja, Se Ran, and a man arguing in front of Chairman Wang's house, and she almost faints. Meanwhile, Da Jung presses Chairman Wang for a divorce, but he adamantly refuses. Meanwhile, Se Ran and Sang Chul get into Je Guk's storage, and Je Guk gets arrested for stock manipulation and keeping a slush fund.

When Sang Chul and Je Guk realize the warehouse turned out to be a fake, they take it out on Se Ran. Even when Se Ran explains that Da Jung and Yo Han set them up, they firmly believe it was her doings. At the same time, Yo Han tries to persuade Noel to reveal the truth to Da Jung. However, Da Jung finds the note at Noel's office and realizes that Noel is her biological mother.

Se Ran and Ae Ja temper the ingredients at Bobaejung, so the restaurant gets suspended, and Da Jung compensates the customers. Now that Da Jung knows the truth, Noel musters up the courage and visits Da Jung to apologize for what she has done. Meanwhile, Je Guk finds out his assistant, Mr. Kim, was in touch with Yo Han.

Madam Yoon convinces Da Jung to let go of the past and reconcile with Hae Il, her mother, who is recovering in bed. Yo Han also persuades her to grab hold of the present and live with no regrets. After giving it some thought, Da Jung approaches Hae Il. Meanwhile, Da Jung and Yo Han learn that Se Ran is smuggling in diamonds and plan to stop her.

Se Ran gets furious as she loses the diamonds to Da Jung right before her eyes. To get back at Da Jung, she posts gossip about Da Jung's marriage, and therefore, the public starts to mock Da Jung and Yo Han. Meanwhile, Se Ran gets ready for her first fan meet, and Da Jung prepares a surprise for her.

Se Ran gets humiliated on a massive scale at her fan meet, and the whole world knows about her fake academic background and work experience. Ji Hoon starts to doubt everything about Se Ran, including her pregnancy. Therefore, Se Ran quickly looks for a forged pregnancy journal.

Ji Hoon cut ties with Se Ran after Noel reveals her fake pregnancy. Je Guk kicks both Se Ran and Ae Ja out of his house and reports them to the police. Now that Se Ran is left with nothing, she heads over to Bobaejung to do anything she can to get back at Da Jung. Meanwhile, Je Guk looks into Mr. Jang, Yo Han's assistant.

Yo Han rushes to find An Na, and Da Jung stays behind in shock after receiving An Na's ransom call. Da Jung believes Ae Ja and Se Ran are behind An Na's kidnapping and trembles in fear they might hurt her. Meanwhile, as Se Ran and Ae Ja wait with An Na for the light of day, they tell An Na the shocking truth about her parents.

An Na recovers in the hospital but isn't too happy seeing Da Jung. Yo Han learns that Je Guk knows he is the CEO of W Investments, but he doesn't falter and confronts Je Guk about it, telling him he will take back Dream Food that belonged to his late father. Later, Da Jung receives an urgent call and rushes to the hospital.

Ji Hoon gets into a car accident while driving Yo Han's car. At the hospital, Je Guk throws a fit at Yo Han for letting Ji Hoon drive his car, so Yo Han suspects Je Guk did something to his car. Furthermore, Ji Hoon is shocked when he finds out Je Guk tried to murder Yo Han.

Ji Hoon is upset that he got into this mess because of his father. Therefore, he crawls up to the top of the hospital to take his own life. Yo Han stops by to check up on him and realizes he is not in his room. Meanwhile, An Na is having a hard time after the kidnapping incident, so Da Jung takes her to see a doctor.

Yo Han tells Ji Hoon about his father's accident which Je Guk had planned to steal Dream Food. Ma Ri starts working at Je Guk's home and sees Ji Hoon in a wheelchair. Meanwhile, Sang Chul barges into Bobaejung to meet An Na and accidentally reveals that he is her biological father.

Mr. Kim returns to Je Guk for forgiveness. He claims to remain loyal to Je Guk and asks for a chance to redeem himself. Je Guk gives him one last chance and lets him go. Meanwhile, Se Ran decides to see Ji Hoon for her advantage, and later, Yo Han finds himself in trouble due to Mr. Kim's betrayal.

Da Jung realizes Yo Han is in danger and fears Je Guk put a hit on him. She storms to his house and begs him to let him go, but Je Guk denies having anything to do with Yo Han. Meanwhile, through Ma Ri's words, Da Jung learns Mr. Kim betrayed Yo Han and is keeping him hostage. She plans to use herself as bait and rescue Yo Han.

Now that Yo Han knows Je Guk has a paper company to steal slush funds, he needs to find evidence that proves Je Guk is hiding money in someone else's account. Meanwhile, Bo Bae barges into Je Guk's office to cancel their contract, and he reveals the truth behind Duk Soo's downfall.

After meeting Je Guk, Bo Bae lets Da Jung and Noel know that Je Guk set everything up to steal Noel and the company from Duk Soo. Da Jung is heartbroken as she was once married to a man who was involved in her parents' divorce. Before Je Guk moves the money from Danny Jung's account, Da Jung comes up with a plan to bring him down.

Da Jung disguises as Xiao Cheung and meets Je Guk to discuss his new project. Sang Chul wins the lottery, and Se Ran suggests he invest in Je Guk's resort business. Meanwhile, Noel visits Doctor Kim for treatment, and Doctor Kim notifies Je Guk secretly.

Chairman Wang springs a surprise visit to the construction site and almost catches Da Jung and Yo Han off guard. Ma Ri overhears Se Ran talking to Ji Hoon and learns she has been lying about her pregnancy and tells Sang Chul about it, shocking him. Meanwhile, Da Jung and Yo Han's plan to fool Chairman Wang goes smoothly.

Je Guk faces heat from all directions but thinks his tail is covered. However, during the shareholders' meeting, Yo Han exposes the true nature of his corruption that Je Guk can't escape. Meanwhile, Se Ran sneaks into the shareholders' meeting, where she learns the truth behind the incident from 26 years ago and is stunned.

Even though Se Ran realizes the person who murdered her father was Je Guk, she cannot accept it as she spent her whole life trying to get revenge on Duk Soo and Da Jung. Da Jung tells her to turn herself in for her crimes, but she has to get back at Je Guk first.
