Top Design Season 1
Top Design is an American reality television series. Interior designers compete to win cash and receive a spot in New York's Designer showcases. The first season premiered on January 31, 2007, following the season finale of Top Chef. Todd Oldham was the host and famed potter and interior designer Jonathan Adler was lead judge. Kelly Wearstler and Margaret Russell also serve as judges. Matt Lorenz was declared the winner. Although the first season received poor ratings, Bravo decided to air a second season starting September 3, 2008, with India Hicks as host and Oldham serving in the role of mentor, similar to Tim Gunn on Project Runway. Adler, Wearstler, and Russell returned as judges.

Top Design Season 1 Full Episode Guide
Season finale. The two remaining contestants are given the task of designing a loft in Los Angeles.

The remaining designers are given the challenge of designing a living space using unusual materials. The Clients are going to be tough because they are all aspiring designers.
The designers are given another team challenge. This one takes them to the beach where the fun in the sun is decreased by the challenge at hand.
The designers are given the challenge of creating a bedroom for their individual clients, but there are some big and small twists.
The Twelve interior designers compete to create a place of relaxation for a mystery client.
